Mission Statement

The Center for Global Education (CGE) is the hub for global learning and engagement for all NTC students. It advances a robust range of programs to enhance global awareness and intercultural learning and makes these opportunities accessible for all NTC students. 

CGE Objectives

Intercultural Agility: Develop skill sets to navigate various cultural spaces and understand how individual identit(ies) and positionality inform cross-cultural interactions.

Language Encounters: Equip students with the linguistic skills necessary for effective communication in many linguistic contexts.

Sustainable Collaboration: Foster intentional internationalization and relationship-building with faculty, staff, and international partners both on and off campus.

Goal-Oriented Learning: Empower personal academic, professional, and intra-personal development of each student through intentional goal-setting.  

International Education Leadership: Engage in the global landscape of international education as leaders in the field.
