
Biography
Malí Weitzman is a senior at Tulane majoring in Economics, Spanish & Portuguese, and Latin American studies. She studied abroad twice, the summer before her junior year in São Paulo studying Portuguese and social issues with CET, and the fall of her junior year studying economics and Spanish at the University of Sevilla, in Sevilla, Spain. Both experiences were transformative in their own ways, and opened Malí’s eyes to a career in international education. On campus, Malí is also a Trip Leader for Outdoor Adventures, a research assistant in the D3L lab, a Portuguese language ambassador, and involved in the Newcomb Institute and Greek life. She is passionate about supporting students to design their own unique study abroad experience and believes that study abroad makes us all better global citizens.
