Office of Study Abroad

The NTC Office of Study Abroad (OSA) facilitates the pursuit of academic exchange and study abroad for the Tulane undergraduate community. Through the close curation of a list of international programs that meet the academic and personal needs of Tulane students as well as individualized advising, the OSA sends approximately one third of Tulane students abroad during their undergraduate career.

OSA pursues the mission of assisting students in articulating and achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals while abroad. We believe that international education is an essential component of the undergraduate experience and work to assist all students in accessing study abroad opportunities during the summer, semester, and academic year. We hold that the pursuit of education abroad will allow our students to acquire region and country-specific knowledge, empathize with differing ways of being in the world, and apply their newfound intercultural competency to their future endeavors.

Our staff members' combined experiences studying, working and traveling abroad allows us to assist students in identfying program options, adjusting to their host culture, navigating their own identity abroad, and cultivating a globally-conscious mindset.
