Studies show the benefits of participating in orientation programs. Faculty members and advisors see a marked difference in the preparedness and success of students who have participated in orientation.
TU Advantage students must participate in New Student Orientation the week before classes start in August. In addition to learning more valuable information, students will have the opportunity to meet the remainder of the incoming first year students.
During this orientation you will tour the campus, get your TU ID, you will get to meet the staff of the Office of International Students and Scholars and orientation leaders (OISS). They will share important immigration information. They will also explain further opportunities for you to be prepared to succeed academically and socially, and learn about U.S. culture.
