Meet the International Peer Advisors

Iselle Farias

Hi everyone! My name is Iselle Farias, and I am thrilled to be an international peer advisor this year. I am a student at Tulane University majoring in sustainable urbanism with a minor in Portuguese. I joined the team because I am passionate about helping new students navigate the transition to life in New Orleans and the Tulane community. Having gone through the process of settling into a new environment myself, I know how important a supportive network can be. Outside of academics, I love painting, reading and exploring New Orleans to try new food. I look forward to meeting you all and making this semester a great experience!

Queeny Bui

My name is Queeny Bui, and I’m from Vietnam. I speak 2.5 languages, including French, and I enjoy traveling. New Orleans is my favorite place I’ve visited because of its unique food, culture and festive traditions. I look forward to meeting and supporting international students at Tulane.
