The Office of Study Abroad maintains exchange agreements with various universities from around the world. Students from these universities may spend a semester or year at Tulane University.
Exchange students at Tulane University are able to take many courses at the undergraduate level from among the Schools of Liberal Arts, Science and Engineering and Public Health. Consider coming to Tulane where you can make progress towards your degree while taking such interesting courses as American Political Thought or Music in New Orleans.
Exchange students are admitted to Tulane University based on the following:
Upon admission to Tulane, visiting exchange students are contacted by an advisor within Tulane's Academic Advising Center with instructions on how to register right alongside Tulane students. Exchange students may take courses within the Schools with which your home university has an agreement. Some courses have prerequisites and students will be required to demonstrate that they meet these prerequisites using your home institution transcript.
Each academic department website has a course catalog which lists courses that are regularly offered. For more recent course offerings, please browse through the Tulane University Class Schedule!
Prospective and admitted exchange students should spend some time reviewing the website of the Office of International Students and Scholars and The Center for Global Education in order to get to know the student services that you will have when coming to Tulane.
