9/2/21 Update
The NTC Office of Study Abroad has chosen to extend the deadline for Spring 2022 Applicants to September 29, 2021 .
Please note: Applying to study abroad is a two-part process in most cases. Students should also be aware of the external application deadline set by their chosen provider or host university. Most external study abroad deadlines fall after the Tulane deadline, however students can contact their program directly with any concerns regarding submission of their secondary study abroad application. Please take note of the deadline of your secondary application in case it is before the Tulane deadline.
Best,

The Tulane study abroad application system is currently down due to mass power outages in New Orleans. Unfortunately at this time we do not have an estimate of when it will be back up and running. For the moment, students applying for Spring 2022 programs should continue to check back occasionally on the site for updates. We will make a formal announcement regarding the Spring 2022 deadline (9/10) once all staff have evacuated the area and we are able to meet remotely to determine how best to move forward. Students who are unable to meet the internal Tulane study abroad deadline due to evacuations or continued system outages will not be penalized. Please refrain from sending essays or other application attachments to our office via email--staff are not able to edit applications at this time due to system outages.
Remember that applying to study abroad is a two-part process in most cases. Students should also be aware of the external application deadline set by their chosen provider or host university. In-person appointments are suspended until further notice and our office location at 6901 Willow St is currently closed. All future appointments will be conducted virtually until our planned return to campus in October (see university-wide communication).
Email is currently the best way to contact OSA staff as office lines are down. Students may experience delays in response due to outages and continued evacuations.
Further announcements to come--thank you for your patience and stay safe!
